Accounting Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for accounting, budgeting and planning, analyses and reporting
- Ensure organizational compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and other established policies and procedures
- Ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded, and closely supervises monthly accounting closing activities
- Develop accounting and related procedures for new transactions, and obtain approval for such accounting
- Meet regularly with Management to discuss issues, significant or new transactions and provide a status update of department operations
- Supervise, monitor and drive special project work
- Involved with related SOX Compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8-10 years of experience
- Accounting degree
- Familiarity with lease accounting
- CPA preferred
- Public experience preferred but not required
