Accounting Manager
Summary The Accounting Manager will report to the Vice President and manage all financial accounting, financial reporting and control activities for an operating business unit.
Responsibilities The Accounting Manager will be responsible for: - Oversee monthly close through to financial statements - Perform general ledger account reconciliation & analysis - Prepare budgets, forecasts and long-term plans - Interface with outside audit firm - Monitor compliance of internal controls & applications of company policies & procedures - Special projects assigned
Requirements The Accounting Manager is required to have: - BS in Accounting - CPA - 8-10+ years experience in accounting / finance roles, both “ Big 4” public and private industry experience a must - A "business person" with a specialty in Finance & Accounting - Experience managing accounting functions, including month and year end financial closings and related analysis
