Accounting Analyst
Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between Finance and General Accounting and contract processing to ensure proper coding and accounting for all revenue transactions
- Ensure proper transition of sales contracts and financial pro-rations for all acquisitions and divestitures.
- Verify/review calculation of revenue share. Ensure proper coding of all inventory in the billing system.
- Ensure proper audit trail on all revenue share payment on leases.
- Will play an active role in the accounting month-end close as it relates to revenue and revenue analysis
- Must have a SOX background and ensure compliance with internal controls and processes.
- Ensure compliance/completion of internal controls remediation plans related to SOX and/or Internal Audit findings
- Analyze/review all aspects of revenue to understand reasons for shortfall and/or upside by market and by media type.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years finance/accounting experience public and/or private
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Excel skills; Oracle exp. preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills, ability to handle details and the ability to multi-task
- Strong team player and who can work independently
