Financial Analyst
This position reports to and will work with on a daily basis with the Director of Business Management and other Business Managers as necessary
Location: Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, FL
Responsibilities include:
- P&L analysis - Preparation and analysis of monthly profit studies for direct contracts, identifying potential risks and/or opportunities, combined with forecasting and variance analysis - Preparation of monthly overhead analysis and establishing estimates to completion to help meet financial obligations - Preparation of unbilled analysis each month - Monitoring funding limits on assigned contracts, notifying appropriate personnel when additional funding is required (85% letters) - Providing support to ensure timely month end close and financial report generation - Reporting of Billed Sales - Set up and Maintain charge numbers - Reconcile charges made against purchase cards to bank statement, verify accuracy of charge numbers being used - Analyze and Reconcile Contract and Funding values
The Financial Analyst must be dependable to take on assignments and follow through independently, with data accuracy and integrity. Each analyst must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong Excel spreadsheet and Word document capabilities, and be able to learn and utilize the companies various accounting systems.
This position requires 1-3 years experience with a BS in Business Administration, MBA preferred.
